Two Books from Borders Today
Bookstores are like money traps for me. Normally, I buy three or four books a month, this includes audiobooks from iTunes; unfortunately, my reading of books doesn't keep pace with my buying of books.
So here are two juicy titles that I picked up tonight: On Bullshit and Strapped: Why America's 20- and 30- Somethings Can't Get Ahead.
On Bullshit was referenced on Brad Feld's blog and he goes so far as to say, it is his "favorite business book of all time." Those are strong words and from the amount of books that Brad has read, it makes it even stronger. I got a third of the way into it tonight and it is hilarious...
The second book is pretty self-explanatory and the cover caught my eye as I was on my way to the cash register, so of course I picked it up. I read the back, checked to see which authors endorsed it, and thumbed through a couple pages before deciding it was a worthy buy. I'm really excited to see what it has to say because personal finance and the way people spend/use their money has always interested me.
