A Simple Path to Wealth

I was lucky enough to grow up in a family that valued and practiced financial prudence.

When I was 10 or so, my grandfather handed me The Richest Man in Babylon, a book about financial principles written as parables.

The principles aren't revolutionary. In fact, they are so simple they are easily dismissed. Principles like:

  • Save money
  • Don't spend more than you have
  • Invest wisely
  • Avoid investments that appear too good to be true
  • Buy insurance
  • Read to become wise and more knowledgable
